[Barron sounds shaken.] Wardens. All of you. I want to know what "evidence" you think you have. Because there is no way that I would do that to two people. I didn't kill anyone. I couldn't do something like that.

And sounds even more miserable when he continues.] I'm not going to lie to you, I confronted O'Brien about Prefect. But that was it. I spoke to him and left, hours ago. I don't know why he did what he did or whether he's trying to frame me, but you all have to believe me that I didn't have anything to do with it. I probably shouldn't have spoken to him at all, but I just couldn't have known that he would react this way. I never wanted this to happen.
