Deep and meaningful question for the week, barge. If you could go home, but no one you loved was there, would you do it?
sharpememory: (Looking down)
This wouldn't be happening if you all wore gloves. [And Barron holds up his leather-gloved hands. Annoyingly, he actually looks to be in good health.]

I mean, come on, people. This is why personal hygiene and not being naked are a thing, you know?

[Where Barron comes from, gloves are just as critical as pants. Why are none of you wearing pants. :I]

[Private - Cassel]

Stay in your cabin, seriously. This shit always gets nasty fast. [Barron kind of thinks that you can't handle this. Sorry, Cassel.] And don't turn into anything with tentacles, people may think that you're a crazy doctor guy.

Hey, people. Let's be real, none of us on barge are getting lucky or having as many romantic dinners as we should. So I think the only answer to this is to have speed dating, preferably at Thursday nights. And preferably next to the pool, in case we feel the need to turn it into pool party speed dating.

Kids, if you're under 18, you're just gonna have to go and entertain yourself with coloring books.

Alien people, you might want to go organize your own thing. The vampires will probably be into it.

[Added later.]

I take it back, aliens and whatever are totally included. Surely someone will be into it.

[Barron sounds like death warmed up. This was intended to be private to Prefect, but due to the flood's affects he couldn't be bothered with it.]

You know what's amazing, comrade? When you reckon that the human body would have a limit to how much vomit it can chuck up. Pro tip? There isn't one. I must have hurled at least a dozen times today.

[A pause, because that lie is not helping Barron feel better right now.]

I think I'm gonna keep drinking until it goes away.
sharpememory: (Trolling in the deep)
I have like, a health question. How many drinks is it normal to have a day? Of alcohol, that is. Just for a benchmark, 'cause I was having an argument with a guy about this a while ago.

[Private - Eddie Nygma]

Did you really kill Ladd? Because if that's true, I owe you a drink.
sharpememory: (Sounds good)
[Barron: hit by the honesty bomb. He's sitting on his bed, writing in his diary journal.]

So, guys. I basically disappeared off the barge. [He pauses to scribble something out in the journal.] Which isn't that abnormal, but it was weird. I spent a while at home not remembering being here at all. My brother turned out to be a total asshole who was willing to turn us over to the Feds, so he got taken out by my other brother. Who then got all into my business and made the hot high school girl I was really into break up with me.

[Barron sighs, making a face.] It's not like I'm that much older than her, but whatever. It's a little ridiculous. I mean, even my Mom is getting together with a guy. Who's totally the head of a mob family, but what are you gonna do? [Barron shrugs.] It's not like the connections would do us any harm.

[He stops scribbling in his journal.] Then I was back here, remembering being here from before and the new stuff that I'd done at home. I guess I asked the Admiral if I could go home the right amount of times or something. [A pause.] It was better than being here, even with all the drama going down.
