So, Prefect finally got me my powers back. It's been pretty great. I totally convinced some girl in the dining hall line that she needed to give me the last muffin because of some childhood trauma. You know, the usual. [Barron laughs.] Amazing stuff. Of course, that counts as using my powers responsibly, right? Because getting that muffin was pretty serious business.

So, yeah. That's where I'm at. It's amazing. I'm going to go and see if I can get some of you guys to fight with each other. I'll want a bit of a show, if you've all got any recommendations. Otherwise I'll be in the second floor common room, if anyone wants a game of pool.

[SIGH.] I get why you'd suck at this. I do. I would guess that back home you never really had to bother trying to deceive anybody, because you could just touch them and oh hey you get anything you want from whoever you want.

But getting your powers back, presumably on the promise that you wouldn't use them, only to waste them on something totally trivial and then tell everybody? No. Nobody is that dumb, so I'm going to generously assume you're just dumb enough to think everyone else is stupid enough to believe you. Now I'm just wondering why.

Firstly, I don't see why I should filter the fact that you're obviously a complete idiot. Secondly, don't call me sweetheart. I have literally already broken a guy's legs for using petnames on me this week.

Last but not least, and actually on a related note, the only thing you're going to get out of this is extreme violence. And if that's what Prefect wants for your immediate future then - well, great, but that doesn't seem like it'd be his MO.
