His attention drifted distantly towards the Doctor, and he managed to give a slight nod to the approaching man, but his head ached from the movement, so he let it droop back down quickly to rest back against his inmate wordlessly.]

[Opening his bag, he pulls out one of the Infirmary scanners which he now keeps on hand for just such an occasion and moves it over the injured man's body.]
