I have like, a health question. How many drinks is it normal to have a day? Of alcohol, that is. Just for a benchmark, 'cause I was having an argument with a guy about this a while ago.

Did you really kill Ladd? Because if that's true, I owe you a drink.

Unfortunately thinking about that required some fuel in his tank, so when he answers his door, his shirt is un-tucked and rumpled, and he's already slightly drunk.]
Comrade!
[He declares cheerily, before remembering what he'd suggested the last time he'd seen Barron.
Less drinking. RIGHT.]
[Spam for Prefect]
Sassy comrade! [Barron said, deciding that just plain comrade was too boring for him.] We need to go to the art room, ASAP. There's things for us to do.
[Spam for Prefect]
All right, Comrade. What do we need to do in the art room?
[Not that he was going to say no, or anything. They did need a non-drinking hobby.]
[Spam for Prefect]
[He looks at Prefect expectantly.]
[Spam for Prefect]
I think that is a really... thorough solution to future potential floods, Comrade.
[He steps forward, shutting the door behind him.]
And, I would like to do it very much.
[Spam for Prefect]
That's awesome, man. Because I think it'll come in useful and be really good to have.
[He started to walk down the hallway.] By the way, if a doctor talks to you, you gotta tell him that I'm not an alcoholic and that I don't know any. Because it's the truth.
[Spam for Prefect]
Why? Why would he ask me about that?
[He pulls a face.]
We should probably try to drink less though. If you graduated and went home, and kept drinking like we do now, I think you would probably die quite soon...
[Spam for Prefect]
I was asking him about normal amounts of drinking. We were both in it, so that's good. But he may have gotten the impression that I drink too much. [Barron shrugs.] He's just being overly cautious.
[Barron just smiles at Prefect's mention of going back home.] Come on, man. We don't drink that much.
[Spam for Prefect]
[Prefect is pretty certain that they don't drink normal amounts, but he's also aware that he's... not the best judge of this?]
When I was an inmate, my Warden had to forbid anyone from giving me alcohol, because I got to a point where I just never sobered up...
[Spam for Prefect]
Really? That seems like a cruel thing to do. [He paused.] You're sober now, anyway. For the most part.
[Spam for Prefect]
He wasn't being cruel. I just... I'm not always the best judge of whether or not what I'm doing is a good idea, and since there are no consequences here...
[He lets himself go.]
But you're right, I am better now than I was.
[Spam for Prefect]
The doctor dude is just being overly cautious. Everything is fine.
[Probably.]
[Spam for Prefect]
[Spam for Prefect]
Okay, okay. We'll "drink less."
[Barron is not taking this seriously enough.]
[Spam for Prefect]
[Prefect is slowly getting used to the fact that Barron kind of does as he pleases...]
[Spam for Prefect]
You don't want to drink with me anymore, is that what you're saying? We can't visit the bar anymore?
[Spam for Prefect]
[He frowns. Damn it Barron, acting like this will be an affront to their need to hang out and be bro's is an unfair tactic.]
[Spam for Prefect]
[It sure sounded like one to Barron, even if it completely missed the point.]

It was about time Ladd had some humility delivered. Or justice, if you like.
